Sept. 4, 2007-  This morning a Eurostar train made the trip from Paris to London in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 16 seconds.  This time did not beat the the 2 hour goal but it was still 15 minutes faster than the 2003 record.  The train is scheduled to start regular service between St Pancras and Paris on November 14, 2007 for a reasonable rate of £59 / $100 return.  Starting on December 9th day trippers will be able to arrive in Paris around 9 am local time and leave at 9:13 pm.
