The Modern is a fine dining restaurant featuring French-American cuisine that is located at the Museum of Modern Art.

This locations mentioned in this post are mapped within.

The Fab Four entertained and educated us on the finer points of what to do, how to dress and where to go in New York City from 1998 to 2004. However, what would Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda be without their ultimate wing woman? You know, the hip chick who provides them with constant options in men, fashion, food and nightlife? Naturally, I am speaking about The Capital of the World, none other than The Big Apple. At its core Gotham embodies all the complexities and eccentricities of SATC’s Fab Four. She is every bit as blue blood as Charlotte, move- on-the-the-next-thing as Samantha, hard working as Miranda and fashionable…and fickle as Carrie.  iKangaroo has mapped some of the featured spots in the SATC movie for you to find the best NYC cheesecake, grab a Cosmo at a museum and of course locate the trendy restaurants that served as the backdrop for the Fab Four’s exploits leading up to Carrie’s wedding.

For those of you that can not get enough then this may not be the final word, there is rumors that Chris Noth (i.e. John aka Big) would like to do the sequel in London.

Magnolia Bakery: 401 Bleeker Street

Not featured in the movie but one of the more memorable scenes of Carrie and Miranda talking about crushes and “crashes.”, which of course created a cupcake craze.  So, I decided to put it in anyway.
